On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of what is probably the world's best-known studio microphone, the exclusive U 87 Anniversary Set is now available from Neumann This special edition, in a fine and robust, retro-style case, is offered with unique product features.

In addition to an elastic suspension and a signed, already framed certificate of authenticity, the set includes a new pop screen for that true "sixties" feel. The set even includes a dust cover embroidered with the anniversary logo, and a pair of white gloves with which to handle this fine equipment.

Wusik has just released Wusik Tool Over-Sampler which lets you load a VST instrument and select 2 to 4 times over-sampling. So, if you are operating at 48khz, at 2x oversampling you get 96khz, potentially resulting in a much smoother sound, with no aliasing. An option to Bypass all Over-Sampler instances will also be added, for quick turning off while playing, and on while rendering.

Wusik Tool Over-Sampler costs $29.95 but is free to all users who subscribed to Wusik's membership / magazine prior to 13th September 2007. Note that a demo version is available, with the following limitations: you can't change anything on the loaded VST GUI and Song/Preset/Bank saving is not implemented.
