Hey Mac Music

I dont really want this to become the typical logic/cubase debate, but i'm not sure which would be better for me. I currenty use an 800mhz powerbook on os 10.1 but 10.2 is on the way. I use reason and an oxygen 8, and my genre of chioce is house music. Im wonderin if any one out their has a similiar set up along with on of the 2 major apps listed, or if anyone runs one of the 2 on a powerbook. My key issues are:

1. Ease of use with rewire
2. Variety and quality level of virtual instruments
3. Learning curve (putting in about 6 hours a week)
4. stability issues
5. will my cpu (1 gig ram 40 gig hard drive) be able to handle 12 audio and 12 midi tracks w/ about 40 effects total

Thanks

I was just wondering if anyone new of some good options for a band in a box type program on X. I use Reason on a g4 powerbook 800mhz w\an oxygen 8 and Im looking for something that I can import my finished Reason tracks into to give it some extra melody. No vst host here, so that's not an option for me.Thanx.
