Jazz musician. drums, composer, band leader. Starts playing at 12, at first as a pupil of Kenny Clarke, after which he performs with greats such as Eric Dolphy, Chet Baker, Bud Powell, Don Cherry among others. He has since performed with his own bands as leader. Several albums. The most recent CDs: "Quand le son devient aigu jeter la girafe à la mer"(Futura), "Tenga Nina"(Nato). Rght now, working on a new CD.
