hi ..

I've recently moved for better or worse from working on a Rs7000 to cubase ..
one feature i miss so much is the slicer remix function from the Rs7000 sampler section ..

it could slice audio (as many plug apps can) ... but had a really useful remix function for randomly (or based on time sig.) rearranging the slices .. it was great for creating small variation in groove .. it could also "remix " midi .. great for hihat swing or making rolls .. I'm wondering if there is any sort of plug in that can do one or all of these features ..

I'm especially looking for something to help create a bit of randomness to MIDI data ..

I've played with all the MIDI insert effects in cubase and also MIDI files but nothing has the flexibility i'm looking for ..

or even if not this .. a drum module plug in with good flexiblity to randomize sequences ..

thanks ..
